Overview
We’re looking for a technically strong, detail-oriented developer who enjoys digging into problems, analyzing systems, and uncovering root causes. You’ll take ownership of issues end-to-end: from investigation through to resolution. You don’t need to be a senior engineer but you do need a solid technical foundation, sharp analytical thinking, and the confidence to work in code.
Responsibilities
Investigate and triage reported bugs through logs, code review, and data analysis
Query and analyze system data using SQL to support investigations
Use AI-assisted tools (e.g. Claude) to review and assess code behaviour
Own and implement bug fixes directly, end-to-end
Reproduce issues consistently and document findings clearly
Collaborate with developers on complex cross-system issues
Maintain and contribute to internal support and debugging guides
Improve investigation and debugging processes over time
Skills & experience
Required
SQL — queries, filtering, anomaly detection
Debugging across systems (logs, databases)
Strong analytical & problem-solving thinking
Technical background in dev, QA, or data analysis
High attention to detail and persistence
Comfortable learning new tools quickly
Nice to have
Experience writing technical documentation
Logging, monitoring, or debugging platforms
Familiarity with AI-assisted dev tools
QA, support engineering, or bug triage experience
Prior collaboration with engineering teams
