Log4Shell Vulnerability Notice

Lumiio Data Registry Platform Not Impacted by Log4Shell Vulnerability

Calgary, AB – On December 9, 2021, a cybersecurity vulnerability was announced by security researchers named “Log4Shell.” This vulnerability allows for remote code execution by exploiting the Java Logging Library log4j2.

Lumiio Inc. is aware of this vulnerability and how it could, if exploited, potentially impact our user’s personal information. Lumiio has diligently worked through the process of evaluating the discovery of both the vulnerability and any indication of compromise that would impact the security and performance of the Lumiio data registry platform. As part of Lumiio’s active threat management policies and procedures, all production and development servers were immediately inspected and confirmed to be unaffected by the vulnerability.

The Lumiio cybersecurity team will continue to monitor against active threats through our real-time monitoring security technologies to ensure that all appropriate remediation and mitigations are implemented in timely fashion.  Maintaining customer security & privacy is a core value of Lumiio’s business.
