Lumiio Receives $1.3 Million in Funding from Prairies Economic Development Canada

Lumiio is excited to announce that Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan) is providing $1.3 million of funding to the company, supporting the development of its digital products and commercialization.

The funds will help grow Lumiio’s digital health programs, and support development of advanced wearable integrations to better capture real-world health data, aiding in medical diagnostics, disease characterization, and improved patient outcomes for the health communities that Lumiio works in.

PrairiesCan works to diversify the economy across the prairie provinces, supporting small and growing businesses that meet economic diversification goals. PrairiesCan’s funding comes at an important time in Lumiio’s growth, enabling the company to continue to build out its offerings to its clients globally.

“The support from PrairiesCan will be instrumental to Lumiio’s growth” said Blaine Penny, Lumiio CEO. “Their contributions will directly impact our ability to accelerate technology development and services to better serve our growing communities through digital health programs and real-world data collection.”
