Dr. Lawrence Korngut Named Leader in Alberta’s Life Sciences Community with BioAlberta’s Vista Award

Lumiio celebrates the announcement today that Dr. Lawrence Korngut, the company’s Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer, has been selected for BioAlberta’s Vista Award 2023. The award celebrates exemplary leaders who have made significant contributions to Alberta’s Life Sciences industry.  

Lawrence was selected based on his lifelong career dedicated to innovation and commercialization in the life sciences. Lawrence is a practicing Neuromuscular Disease Speacialist, the Director of Innovation and Commercialization at the Hotchkiss Brain Institute at the University of Calgary, and his work has led to the creation of the Canadian Neuromuscular Disease Registry, Lumiio, and co-founding of KASTx Ventures.
